INSIGHT: Psychodynamic One Year Training
This training is designed for clinicians who wish to deepen their understanding of contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy and to integrate this approach into their clinical practice. Over the course of the training, you will engage with key concepts, theoretical readings, and case-based discussions in a small group format that encourages curiosity, reflection, and open conversation.
The four modules
1. Theoretical Foundations
2. Assessment and Techniques
3. Brief Psychodynamic Approaches
4. Tailored Applications
offer both structure and flexibility. Whether you are undertaking the full four-module program or participating in selected modules, each module is designed to help you refine your capacity to assess, formulate, and respond to a wide range of clinical presentations through a psychodynamic approach.
Throughout the program, you will be supported by an experienced team convened by Adjunct Professor Robert Schweitzer, together with Dr Frank Varghese, Dr Rebecca Bargenquast, Mr Aaron Neaves, and international guest Professor Duncan Cartwright. They offer a unique combination of clinical experience, supervision expertise, and practice knowledge, complemented by a shared commitment to sound therapeutic practice.
